Der Genozid an den Assyrern, Armeniern und Griechen, welcher auch als Seyfo (Sichelschwert) bekannt ist, ereignete sich mit dem 1. Weltkrieg im Jahre 1914. In diesem schwarzen Kapitel der Weltgeschichte waren nicht nur Juden Opfer eines Holokausts. Auch in der heutigen Türkei wurden zu jener Zeit ca. 2 Millionen Assyrer, Armenier und Griechen verfolgt und ermordet. Bis heute leugnet die Türkei den Genozid.

Our country has a strong association with the events beginning in 1915.
