Bannaux, Belgium (AINA) — On August 4, 2013 hundreds of Assyrians (also known as Chaldeans and Syriacs) and their friends from all over Europe gathered at the site of the Bannaux Sanctuary in the municipality of Sprimont/Belgium. New monument dedicated to the Assyrian Genocide in Belgium
This monument is at the initiative of the Syriac Institute of Belgium and Seyfo Center. Moushé Malke, an Assyrian(Syriac) world-renowned artist, carved a killed dove on a stone of 12 tons! The official inauguration of the monument will be held on August 4, 2013 at 13:00 Banneux.
